they're pretty, the GH is good until first of November, then I have to make room for the plants in the basement, I wish I could afford a 12X12, & be able to heat it all winter, but I'll keep the basement DH didn't know that I would have that many plants when he suggested the lights in the basement

to get you clivia too bloom you have to do it, like they do at the florist shop, you have to force bloom them, that's how a botaniest told me

I think I will have to just wait. I love roosters, have them set outside too. Get them at a store called Roses, they are reasonable and pretty.
But it has been a while since I did that. Went to post office and mailed 3 pkg. Was over $15.00 Rediculous!!!!

I can't think of what they are called, they are just funny little statue thingies,for the yard. Our local farm store has them. They are just real goofy looking birds doing all kinds of silly stuff.

That pic of the rooster using Reverse glass painting. Got Gold cloth in back, I have a hawk painted like that too, over by the Thunderbird.

Elizabeth, I used the green house that we used to have, the same way that you use yours..it wasn't heated.I mainly moved the seedlings into it after they got some size to them, so I could use the lights inside to start more.Are all your greenhouse plants gonna fit into your basement?

Sounds like you have a wonderful inside grow area.Do you girls feed the birds in the winter? I don't as much as I used to, but I grow lots of berry producing shrubs, now.

I love your camera too, I know 3 kids that have the same one they love it, too, I think it takes 2 minute movies, my 2 GD's & my GS lucked out I caught it on sale for $79.00, so I got the two oldest one, it;s the kodac easy share isn't it?
then I got one of the younger GD's one. my oldest DD kept saying that's all she wanted was the camera & a docking station, so I got her a Leximart, camera & docking station, now her son gets to keep his camera

We have lots of cedar trees on our property in the country, and yes the birds do love them...especially the doves. I really want some winterberry holly..Does the kind of holly that grows there drop its leaves in the winter and have lots of red berries left on the bush/tree?

I have a sidewalk at the back of my house & the front, it took me like forever to shovel all that snow, I finally paid my niece's son to help me, when we sholved it all up it was 4ft high, I didn't mind that but I did mind the ice, when it froze on my parking place, I had to dig out, I thought you got the same thing, it first hit indiana then it hits here
