how do you keep spring bulbs after the season has passed

Which bulbs in particular do you have? Some of them you could leave in the ground and they'll come back and bloom again next year, but there are other ones like tulips that require winter chill, and I suspect where you are it's warm enough that you'd have to dig them up and chill them in the refrigerator if you want them to bloom again next year.
