Smiley I don't think thats cheap. I use to buy just a few bags of chocolate bars and then more bags of non chocolate things like smarties, fruit chews and taffy.

But that husband of mine would hand out all the chocolate first and if there was anything left it was the stuff I didn't like. Soooo now I buy what I like and thats chocolate and now he makes sure its gone. I have heard that he puts handfuls in sometimes.

JJ we get about 100, depends on what night it falls on, probably more on a weekend. Depends on the cold too. I buy chocolate, too, if there's candy left I want it to be what I like lol but they only get one each till the end of the night! One year my friend was giving out handfuls we had to run out & buy more. We got well over a hundred that year. I like to make a big pot of something (gumbo or jambalaya) and people come over.

No swamps near me, Dave, just the lakes about 2 blocks away. Lots of turtles around the lakes...oh wait a couple blocks the other way there's an area that is pretty marshy....but that's a hike for a frog.

I always wear a costume when I take the kids. Last year I was a retired Hooters Girl.
I took a pair of knee hi nylons and stuffed them, cut a white t- shirt off midriff length, hooked the stuffed nylons to the shirt so they hung out the bottom. My mom about had a cow!

I tucked them up when I went to door of someone older or if I knew youngens would be at the door, but my husband and my friends about died laughing. I even had to pose for a few pictures.

We use to have even more when the people across the street had a haunted house, but they moved and my end of town is only about two blocks long.

You could borrow my costume if ya want, be easy to mail.

I have 5 choices, one is my usual, a wedding dress (since I never got a wedding) and I can play it up several ways or I can make a costume and I have 4 pictures of choices if you want to help me decide

I remember way back that you said you wanted to be a garden fairy.

If you don't want to make anything, can you use your wedding dress and add wings and flowers to it? Would that work?

But it you want to make something and have time and you are under less stress, you can make one of those patterns. It is hard for me to tell which one would be the most flattering for you. You probably can decide that the best.
