Seen that link huh smiley.
Of course I had no idea what the tree was. Just looked up the one from the last post.
FROST ON GYPSIES....part 2
Hi Smiley!
Trina, do you belong to the Passiflora Society? Is that a problem if they come from Mexico or Belize?
lol me too.I clearly remember putting bothe the cat and the dog in the other room, so howd I get a kitty?
JJ, hi there! What link are you talking about?
Venice yes I just joined the passiflora society, and yes that's a problem because my greenhouse isn't done...LOL
You did a great job finding it, JJs. How they can tell in that ID forum is beyond me, when it's a picture like that, and then to hook it up with the link you had. I feel totally stupid in there, I lurk all over it though.
Trina how did you get 70 today?
Not fair I got about 58, but still feels warm.
Mid 60's Mon, Tue, and Wed, maybe work on my tan. hahahah
There are about 1,000 species of Peperomia found in tropical areas of the world; mostly in the Neotropics.
Peperomia's are generally epiphytic species, which like to be in moist organic soil, but not soaking wet.
There are 25 species of Peperomia native to Hawai'i. Hawaiians referred to Peperomia's as 'ala'ala wai nui.
Here is Peperomia macraeana a rare terrestrial Peperomia that lives in old growth rainforests and gets to be over two meters (six feet) tall. It is the tallest Peperomia in the World.
Venice, in the plant ID forum, Mystery Tree thread. JJs put a link in there for what someone ID'd the tree as. But she wasn't sure if the link would work, and it did. Check out the tree in her link, in all it's glory.
Ice skating is on TV. Pair skating. Great pair now!!!
and no it wont make a good houseplant, i have a fainter today
Over on plant ID.
They were trying to ID this tree.
I just took the name someone else said it was and found a link for it.
Otherwise I was clueless.
Still don't know if it was right. Just put a picture with the name.
See moon I have been paying attention!!
Dave, is that yours? I like the undergrowth green stuff.
well i can tell Matt's home...thump thump thump...I hate his car stereo
what's a 'fainter' Trina?
I work on the east side of Buffalo, want to talk thump!thump!thump? They rattle their cars apart with the bass. literally.
Hey Carol, I have a small three room farmhouse, where I cook & work. A little cabin that I sleep in. Gazebo for hanging out with friends (put it up several years ago so friends could have a few beers, & I wouldn't have to worry about them spilling it on my table, which is usually covered with seeds). And a greenhouse.
LOL SMiley
Its a plant that has not gotten enough water and literally falls down in the pot, you water it and it stands back up, and a few days later it does it again
OK can't stay in house any longer, so I'm off to toysrus.
Don't tell lynnie...grinning like a cat.....the bags of candy bars are on sale for $1.74.
Have good day all, enjoy the warm weather if you got it.
I'm moving to Daves! LOL
Hi Smiley, that Peperomia only lives in old growth Hawaiian rainforest. It won't do well in gardens.
wouldn't dream of displacing a plant, Dave.
Look at your picture, the stuff underneath the peperomia, what is that stuff? It's nice!
That stuff is Selaginella kraussiana, Spreading Spike-Moss. Regretfully it is a weed in that forest (Pu'u Maka'ala).
Wow! Dave, you have a great complex there!!!! Your arrangement of functions makes a lot of sense. So where are you adding that addition?
sorry 'bout that. I like it!
♫♫ lo-o-ok what I-I found ♫ ♫
HOW DID YOU DO THAT?
Have some stuff to do, see you all later!
☺
go to the test forum. alt 14 will give you the music notes. alt 1 = smiley face etc...
If you eat and work there, is there a kitchen, work room, and library? And what will be the new room?
Nice Dave
The new room will be more library, and I plan to move my bedroom up here.
then what are you going to do with the cabin?
JJ! I heard that! I only did half a workout today! Take it easy *grin*
Dave I was hoping YOU could tell ME what kind of frog that is on my garage wall. I've never seen frogs like that around here either, and like I said there were 2 babies with it. A few years ago there was one on my front door during a storm....that's the only time I'd ever seen such things here. We do live near 3 lakes.
trina you can be assistant to the plant man....wouldn't you be awesome in that role?
lol lynnie....except I'm too lazy today! LOL
About time you took a little break!
besides I'd get in trouble following Dave around!
sheesh I make one little joke and everybody disappears
I am still here! Should be doing other things.
