bee balm seedlind

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

I planted Bee Balm seeds this summer. They did not sprout. We have had a lot of rain here in Texas the last few months‘. This is the first weekend we have had sun and No rain. I have found that the seeds of the bee balm have sprout all over the back corner of my yard. I am wondering what I should do. Can they be saved? Since we have several weeks till we get really cold. This was and is my hart’s desire for my garden. Any recommendations.

Thanks

Dig them up and move them where you want them. They transplant well and as long as you get a nice clump of soil with the roots they should be fine.

Should I allow the to get a bit larger. they are about 2 inch's now. If i do nothing will the freeze kill them off this winter?

They're perennials they'll come back next year.

I am going to leave them and let the strong survive. Any extra. I will give away.

You can tell Bee Balm from the others the stems are square and leaves have a scent when rubbed.
