I was repotting something the other day and there were stones in the bottom. I was working over the sink because I didn't want the dirt all over. So wouldn't you know, I dropped a fairly large stone down the garbage disposal!

I don't have a compost pile because I don't have that much space. Also, I had bugs all over and didn't want them in the house. And finally, I feed a lot of stuff to the ducks and they eat about anything!

Yes, I just fixed my garbage disposal!

ok I get it now, I've done that before.....several times....Blake's being an ass so him and the BF are getting into it.

There is a fairly large pond in this part of the apartment complex. There are mallards and Canadian geese. Sometimes one blue herron stops by and fishes. There are also those white birds that fly over water that you see everywhere.

the boys are giving me crap cause I just threw some small passionflower clippings away....austin's making voices pretending he's the clippings and crying, and kenny's pretending to rescue them

Here's a Hawaiian Nene Goose.

It looks like he is greenish yellow and smaller than Canadian geese.

Yes, smaller than a Canadian Goose, and with a furrowed beige neck.

What types of ducks do you have there.

That is why your goose looks so old. He has a wrinkly neck!!!

chupy is in her kennel because the boys don't want to watch her and kitty is roaming somewhere at least until I get her stuff tomorrow, can't have kitty using the houseplants as litter boxes when we're sleeping

i moved to my bedroom where it is warm and blissfully quiet...took a migraine pill and it is finally starting to work

Mallards and Canadian Geese are the most common. The Koloa, and Hawaiian Coot are the rarest. Also the Northern Pintail, Northern Shoveler, American Wigeon, Green Winged Teal, and Black Brandt.

Nene Geese are Listed Endangered, so can't legally be eaten.

as for kitty, that's why she sleeps in blakes room right now he brought her home, he wanted her....he had until today to get what was needed (yes he had money what he did with his money I don't know) dad said if he didn't get the stuff he was feeding her to the dog....I said no I will go get the stuff in the morning then she's my cat. BF said fair enough, then privately he said not like she ain't your cat already, she rides around on my shoulders or hanging on to my pant leg...so tomorrow her and puppy each get there own litter boxes - cause chupy's hate snow or being wet - and then both puppy and kitty will have kennels for when mom needs a break, and sleep in here with us

OMG I had to go outside earlier and both of them stood there at the door whining and crying you would have thought someone had been murdered!

When there is water available the Nene Goose swims. Generally they don't live around water.

Sorry Carol, I've never had a Nene in the house.

No they pretty much both go during the day until I need a break around 2 then when the kids get home at 330 they are let back out and they run til they littlerally pass out, usually into thier food dishes between midnight and 1 then when BF comes home between 2 and 4 am they are both up to play with him (if you don't let them out they cry until you do) then when he comes to bed about an hour later they get put up, then back up with me at 630....aaaahhhh the energy of youth, its like thier afraid there gonna miss something

Some folks here keep chickens for pets. They don't give any warning when they drop poo. Yuck!

I think Dixie knows that only too well with her poo babies, chickens and ducks!
