droooooooooling over the Shasta

South Hamilton, MA

Finished cutting back siberian iris foliage this afternoon. Takes me long than it used to (sigh). All right now, but I suspect tomorrow I will be in need of a new right arm. Leaves are pretty much still green with others falling at the moment. Good--because I needed to keep my eyes on what I was cutting.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

victor some of your jm's are ahead of mine - like everyone of those you just posted - are they in sun? mine are all in different levels of shade. they look great by the way.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Omure yama is in pretty deep shade. Beni kawa gets a few hours of sun. That dead Koto was next to Omure yama in shade.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

wow - my koto is just now getting color - your beni leaves looks a look like my coral bark, the beni here has some red in the leaves, and omure is just starting to turn.

had a great hike today on the mid-state trail out in ashberham (sp) - had never been there before - nice steep little evelavation climb up 1800 ft. and met a women at the peak who hikes there everyday who showed me a loop trail - she could really fly down a trial - my doctor might not be happy with me but i'll be damded if she was going to leave me in a wake of leaves :) pictures tomorrow.

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

LUV the burning bushes too! Wha maybe please put your wolfs eye dogwood in PF as there are no pics with autumn colour and that's a beauty shot of the foliage. Thanks.
