Nice color Victor!! Love those reds along the shore.

Land of OZ, CT(Zone 6a)

Aaahhhhhh! Victor pics! Very nice! Makes my day that much better ^_^

South Hamilton, MA

I bet that it would be quite cold for swimming.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks.

Yes - it would be freezing!

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

It would be a refreshing dip this time of year.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

nice pics Bill.
Closeups of the JM with snoe should be great

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

You're way ahead of me, Bill. My JM's show no change yet. That's what I mean about the zones. No way we're only a half zone different.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

well only a couple have started here - and your peewee oakleaf was way ahead of mine - although i'm sure i'll be watching your for a while yet and be very jealous :)

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

The pee wee might be because it's in full sun.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

makes sense mine are in partial shade

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Very prettiful wha with the dusting of snow.

Great fall pics, everyone!

Nice shots from your hike, Victor. Wish I had the time to fit some hiking in myself. Too much to do here. Nice shots of the Boston Ivy, too. Does it become leafless in the winter?

Bill, I think maybe if you put your Mister Watson hosta where it will get morning sun but afternoon shade, perhaps it will do better. The afternoon sun can be really harsh. Nice pics with the snow. It was almost cold enough to snow here today.

Cousin Nut, you have snow?!!!!!! Oh, no!!!!! Glad I'm here and not there!

Karen

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes - it's deciduous.

I'm just luving the red!!!! Cousin Nut I had to water this morning in the snow so I could dig out my dahlias. It was a hoot! But it's balmy this aft so only some in the shade now. I don't think my leaves will turn this year cuz we had 3F one night and the leaves all curled up green. I think they will just fall off green. Too funky weird.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Nice lake shots Victor!!

Anyone for a piece of devil foods cake with peanut butter frosting?? My Grandaughters requested this cake for their Halloween Pumpkin Carving Party today.
Each year family members from both sides bring the littles ones and a pot-luck dish and we carve pumpkins at my DD's house. I didn't stay for the pumpkin lighting today which is done at dusk. Imagine anywhere from 10-25 pumpkins all lit at once......it's pretty spooktacular!!
