It's snowing at my brothers house as I type, one to three inches.....I lucked out and got just rain.^_^
It's Fall in New England # 2
I just emailed Brent & Becky's ... asked if my ship date was still the 19th... hope so
The earth isnt cold enough to support snow pileing up on the ground like it does in Feb.
It usually melts in an hour here.
I am looking for Brent and B's order too.
Just checked my order and Process date is the 15th

Waiting for mine too.
Got my Brent & Becky's order last weekend........still haven't planted it yet. :(
They are the last besided a B&D Lily order.
I have 6 peonies to plant (not here yet) 3 Martagon Lilies and over 100 bulbs of crocus, tulips, ect...
Those are lovely Jo Ann! I want 'Backhouse' been eyeing that one for some time now. lol
and this is a vine that showed up in my compost area -thought it was a wisteria that rooted itself so i moved it to climb up the tree behind it - not a wisteria although the fall leaves with red veins are outstanding - cut down all the burning bushes around it yesterday and burnt them need to give this a chance to grow
Love that Yellow-Green!
How is Mister Watson doing.
Mine is almost too bright to look at.
Lovely fall shots! I'm a big fan of rock walls. We have lots of them here. Awhile back, I met a woman whose son built rock walls for a living! He had a very scientific about it.
joann - my mr. watson got to much sun and got "bleached" - even though it was supposed to take some sun - i am going to keep it where it is as i plan to expand the bed and add a couple of the jm's i recently purchased and the redbud it is under will also grow some more so i am hoping it does better next year.
phoebe - if he does it for a living he has the heavy equipment needed to do it right - i do not dig down below the frost line and make a bed of gravel, do any major facing of the stone or use cement. fortunately the one i built last year along the driveway had gravel underneath it already and the others are either built on mostly rock or hard clay - if they fall over i just fix em in the spring.
A real New Englander! The photos of the hosta in 2 years was interesting---I think too much rain took the red away from the maples this year.
That is very interesting with the hosta shots.
You doing hosta shots again, Bill?!!
Nice.
How about winter is starting? snow in northen New England & our youngest daughter's house in ST. Paul.
I'm very cranky because of 'fall' :( :( :(
