Fall is coming in hard and fast here, snow is expected in parts of Maine tomorrow.
I know it certainly was cold this morning, around 30 and I hated crawling out of bed.
I hate starting the day cold, but the site of this made it worth crawling out of bed.^_^
I took a walk this morning and froze my fingers trying to taake pictures of the trees. lol

I have a pot of soup on, Pasta Fagioli but first I had to go grab some carrots out of the garden. They are soooooooo sweet!!!!

East of me is calling for rain mixed with snow on Fri. Hope that changes. Trees here are just starting to turn color.
Celeste--thought sure you would rename this thread 'Winter in New England' even though it is only Oct. 12--great sunrise photo! (contest worthy?)

The sunrise's from now until March are usually as brilliant here as the leaves are now.

Nice colors. We drove home from WV with the top down on Sunday, but they were predicting snow there on Monday!

I'm having neighbor ladies in for coffee, wanted to sit on the deck and take last looks at the garden.
Frost Sun nite ended that dream and Snow on the 19th means deck sitting is definatly out.
