Hi Plantladylin,
Do you have a trade list anywhere?
Weather: Hot but no longer hotter than hell. Maybe hotter than purgatory.

Just for Fun, Tell us Your Weather?
Well, we went from over 100 degree temps to cooler weather all at once and from complete drought to flooding. I am not complaining about the rain. We have another rain storm coming in tomorrow night and the ground is already saturated. My plumerias are starting to rot in the pots so tomorrow I intend to grab them and put them on the front porch before the rains hit.
Here are a couple of pics from the rain on Saturday or Sunday?
Hi Pat: Nope, I don't currently have a trade list ... used to but always forgot to keep it up to date so just didn't continue. I don't grow AV's anymore ... only have one little AV plant still alive.
Gail: Wowsers! That is so much rain! Y'all were so dry for so long, looks like mama nature is trying to make up for lost time all in one day! We could use a little bit of that rain down this way!
Wish I could send it your way, Lin! The farmers love all this rain as we still are behind in total rainfall for the year.
Gail,
It is so great you finally got rain!! Too bad it all had to come at once LOL.
Lynn
Yes, I bet the farmers are praising God for the much needed rainfall for the crops! Parts of Texas have been extremely dry for a long time. We were predicted to have showers the past few days but nothing ... it's been cloudy and overcast and some clouds looking pretty ominous but no raindrops have fallen yet. Fall and winter are our normal dry times of year but it sure has been dryer than normal the past couple of months. We never got any tropical storms or hurricanes this year to dump a lot of rain on us. I guess it's always feast or famine when it comes to weather anymore! Some areas getting devastating floods, others experiencing devastating fires!
We are still getting rain! Its thundering and lightning outside right now! Farmers crops and still sitting in the fields, its just too muddy to get into the fields, someone please send us some much needed sunshine!!!! Or and arc may be nice too!!

I am getting ready to turn my computer off as we are expecting heavy rains again tonight.........can't take a chance on frying this new computer..............the computer tech didn't bring a new surge when he came.
Wow you are getting it!!! Hang in there Gail, when my arc gets here I'll pick you up!!! LOL
What a year with drought for an entire year and now flooding!!! Please do offer to pick me up when the arc gets to your house!!! ^_^
We don't have an Ark. Well, wait ... we do have a boat, sitting on the trailer in the back driveway! So, if we ever get some much needed rain and there were a chance of floods I guess we could float away on the boat! ^_^ We did have a very slight, kinda little shower early this morning but it was mainly just sprinkles! We are heading into our dry season now so may have to wait until next spring/summer for much needed rainfall. Gee, isn't it something, farmers in some areas are having to deal with drought conditions while in other areas they are experiencing way too much water!
Current weather for Daytona Beach, Fl:

Ugh! Almost 80º with 81% humidity, and it will only get worse as the day goes on. I guess I should count my blessings though ... at least we aren't having freezing temp's with snow and ice!
The Sun is shining!!!!!!!! yes yes really it is!!
May need to borrow your boat!!
The ground is just soggy, and I just got 3 peony roots to plant, we have clay dirt, if I plant now, they will rot! I know this is the Gessie forum, but any suggestions for them???
Happy Halloween Everyone!
Oh ... peonies, so beautiful but I don't know anything about planting them *** sigh *** they don't grow down here.
The sun is shining and it is warm. Supposed to cool off by Monday. At last!
Pat
Pat, I'll believe the cool weather when I feel it. So far it's been a hot fall for us.
We have Disney passes, and it's been too hot to go and walk in this heat.
Maybe next week we can to to DisneyWorld. They are suppose to have a New Orleans parade and music on the boat. My hubby and I are like little kids again when we go there. We forget all about our aches and pains. LOL
Today is cloudy and really windy here. Typical fall day in the Hudson Valley.....
I know Imadigger,
We went out today and when we got back to the car we had to put a towel on the seat it was so hot. Very weird weather! Supposed to be nice on Monday and boy are we ready for it!
