WE'LL BE YOUR GYPSIES...(sorry Stevie)

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

JJ & Smiley! There are the early birds!!!

TRINA! You said you got some seeds with you got my package yesterday. Let me know what they are so I can put them on your list.

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

I don't think my DH would like that, either. But by midnight I'm sawing wood anyways. Do you have a buddy to keep you company?

Or is it DH??? LOL...

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

Good Morning Venice! Got all your new plants taken care of?

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

No usually its just me, but I normally don't go until about 3.

Morning venice. Only day of the week the kid gets up early. I stayed up to late will need nap later

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Shopping my DH. No Way!!
He don't even no what size shoe he wears LOL

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

Yep, that's how mine is too. Hates shopping.
Silly me...

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Yes, everything is potted or planted. Unfortunately, I have less space in my apartment now! I am going to have to figure this out and move things around. You know, those avocado trees grew during the summer and their branches really stick out. I had to go under their branches to get to one pot! I need to get rid of all my furniture!!!

The couple I put in the garden look good and are taking up a little space from things I pulled out.

Now whose the lucky girl now!! A bromalaid for $2! Of course I have to look up every flower all of you mention! That is a really nice one with a wonderful flower.

JJ, sorry about your computer. I go crazy when somethiing is wrong. Then I go to the Internet and try to figure what is wrong. I think I have just been lucky but I don't have anyone else messing with it either.

Smiley, oh yes! I once went to a black Friday sale at Best Buy. I was standing there freezing for 3 hours. Then a BB person came down the line and said that the 10 computers were already promised to people further up in the line!!! That is the only BF I ever went to and the very last one!

Trina, I really don't mind adding anything to your list. It is all organized so it is no big deal. Will I have to start making a Excel file for Bath and Body Works also??!! lol

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

You girls are just too funny!! From red puppy teeth, to porta potties, to Smiley's "DH." Really liked that last one!

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

I don't remember which thread it was Venice, but you have a really nice garden there! Don't forget to save some room...

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Venice you have to get there the night before if you want those things they only have a few of.
What makes me PO'd is when you stand there for hours and then right before they start handing out tickets people come and join the ones in front of you. So instead of being the 10th person now you are the 50th.

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Somedays that is what DH stands for smiley!!!

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

oh yeah, JJs, that's really annoying. The scorpio in me wants to come out and drag them out of the line..

speaking of red puppy teeth, I had to laugh when I was reading all the posts trying to catch up > sam has this little black pull toy, one of the ones that's all stringy & roped together, and the ends are knotted. One day he was playing with it and I noticed he had black in his teeth, it was one of the threads from the pull toy, but it got caught between his teeth like floss. Picture me trying to get that out...

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

indeed JJs, indeed.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Good Morning All.

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

Good Morning Moon. Who is that in the header picture of our thread?

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Morning moon
Dogs driving me crazy must be time for them to go out

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

I just cut off about 30 leaves from my a. trees where they had brown edges from the sun.

HELP!! Can anyone tell me how to support these trees???? I have one pole in their pots but they lean also!

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

how about something like when they plant a new tree on a street? 2 supports on either side and something wrapped around the trunk to keep it straight?

would that work? got a picture?

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Those are Aboriginal natives from Australia playing some really great music in the square in Sydney.....one is named Byrd and the other Parker (their parents liked jazz)

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

aaah, I see. Thank you Moon.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Venice, when I need to support a tree in a pot, I put a brick between the post and the trunk and use tape to hold the post to the side of the pot. The post does not have to be against the trunk. I then use a strip cut from old stockings to tie the trunk to the post

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Raining and cold here again.
Lousy day for those poor vendors on the scenic drive. Lot of people will wait until next weekend to go.

Hope trina is inside somewhere if she is selling seeds

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

Good Morning everybody! I just got up

Carol I believe you already put those seeds on the list...they are the ones I made the big long list of and posted that I bought, but we can double check as soon as my fingers get a little more lucid this morning

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

at least it's a little warmer today than it has been the last 2 days...wow I just noticed I have 11 dmails

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Thinking the same thing moon. All the cookies are gone already.
Maybe I will try a cherry pie again. This time with no pits. LOL

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Gonna make a "No Surprise" cherry pie? Now where's the fun in that LOL

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

What I need to do is some cleaning and laundry.
Just don't sound like fun.

Lynnie can I borrow your robots???

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

I'll bring the vanilla ice cream, JJs.

Morning Trina.

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

The fun is you get to eat it!!!!

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Rather than bite, spit chew....lol

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Homemade cherry pie with ice cream!!!! Oh my!!

Trina, just give me one on that list. I can check with just that. Did you say something about lillies??

Moon, the stick goes outside the pot taped to the pot. And where does the brick go? I don't get it!

Well .... I was trying to keep the dentist in business with the last pie.

I have got to force myself out of this chair, turn on the music, and get my housework done so I can relax rest of weekend.
Doesn't look like Lynnie is coming over to help!! Bummer

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

The stick goes inside against the side of the pot . I put a strip of tape around the stick and down the outside of the pot to help hold the stick upright. Then, I use a piece of wood or brick between the stick and trunk so the stick can't lean in towards the plant. Then take a couple strips of old stocking and loop one around the trunk near the bottom and tie around the stick and another near the top of the stick and do the same thing.

10 passiflora alata seeds...that's one from the list

and yes I bought some daylilies...2 - 4 fan clumps of little grapette and 2 clumps of another one...I don't know what they mean by clumps or fans or anything so I don't know how many that is and 12 amaryllis bulbs

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Me too JJs....lots to do and no interest in doing any of it....

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

I love amaryllis but the bulbs are soooooo expensive...but i found 6 for 9.95 so I bought 2 sets

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Who has weather over 60??
Get the guest room ready and I'll bring the pie!!

I think we are having some of that well digger butt weather. lol

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

A fan is a single plant. a 4 fan clump is a cluster of 4 plants that have grown up together with roots intertwined.

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Don't have 10 passiflora alata seeds on the list!

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Come ahead, JJs...gonna be in the high 80's here today....guest room is only clean room in the house right now....it has a TV too....grin
