This is my first year to grow both. There are two kinds of plant coming up from the endive patch, are they both endive? We tried some leaves of them, they have a bitter taste and the texture is not very tender. Is that what it supposed to be? Here is the curly one.

And here is the rapini, it is quite big, I am just wondering when will it begin to form flower stem. Thank you very much!
