all of a sudden the leaves are changing but my garden is growing and blooming . brugs blooming like crazy, even a few reblooming iris and daylilies . datura still going .roses throwing new shoots . my first plumie ive been waiting on for 2 months will open any day now . hibiscus with buds . it just dosnt look right with the leaves falling . summer was just getting started .
im so mad! i dont want summer to go
A lot of us didn't have the summer we're used to having and it is a bitter disappointment to face reality and the thoughts of the S word in December and January. Many of us feel cheated. We do with regards to the lack of our usual tomato crop, for sure.
On the other hand the dahlias are so glorious that I'm just enjoying them immensely.
i know it feels like it was just getting started .almost everything didnt do as good as it did last yr. but the brugs look great so at least im getting a good farewell show lol
I have started a petition among my family to get May and June back...this was not the season to be gardening and I am more than a bit reluctant to start reading my notes for October Appts. :(
On the positive side, my Japanese anemone is blooming and the tall toad lilies opened up on Wed.
:)
I'll sign the petition. Whom are we addressing it to? (just curious)
jack frost
or the easter bunny no wait thats april . i dont want april back
I'll take April and May but not June and July.
I'm so sorry for all of you guys, but I cannot wait for spring to get a bit warmer around here ..... Now is time for the southern half part of the world to get full sun !!!
How funny, Cristina. I hope you have a lovely warm season.
Mother Naure..I will go for April and May..we had a really warm June..too warm for me to garden comfortably.
Happy growing season Cristina.
Thank so much, my dear friends.
I have to say that I enjoy all your photos of lovely flowers and produce from your garden, when I'm in the company of cold weather, I'll try to get some photos and post them for all of you.
