Cute dirt!! I'm going to be sure and plant this pretty color of hyssop next spring!!
WESTERN HUMMINGBIRDS VOL.6
That plant is an Agastache mexicana 'Sangria'
from this company:
bloomingadvantage.com
You can use the plant finder and see other plants for hummers or other categories.
(There are so many great nurseries and companies to use, this is just a guideline)
edit -- took out link to the specific plant and company.
Think having that link up took down that site. Hopefully they get it going.

Thanks Dirt, I'll have that plant on my spring list. I did get another Agastache-Ava, but the deer ate it up. Hopefully in spring it will come back up and I'll move it to the backyard. Most of my garden is hummer friendly plantings. Do you have a Red Yucca or Red Hot Poker (Kniphofia), they love them. I'll be glad to send you seeds if you want any. I don't have enough to list them in the seed section here, but I know you plant for the birds too and I'd be glad to send you some.
This is just one of my four feeders that was emptying quickly with so many hummers.
Okay, Kelseyville, Ca. is another place I need to consider moving to.
Wow, those are great shots of hummingbirds, I never seem to be able to catch mine at the feeder to get a pic. Do you have a high speed camera?
Fantastic, duc. I was just going to warn you that I wouldn't be surprised to see Mrs Ed stomping up your driveway with steam coming out of her ears.
Well I might only get as far as Conway, MO. Then I have to decide whether to go south to Costa Rica or West to Kelseyville, CA or Esperance, Australia. No hummingbirds there though.
All beautiful shots duc! Love the last one!
RE: Hummingbird plants: I chose the tag "pollengarden" because I love gardening but have severe pollen allergies. So I have to really know my plants, pollen & pollinators. I keep planting more and more hummingbird plants for two reasons: I love hummingbirds (who doesn't?) and the tubular flowers they prefer have no air-born pollen. Some of the bottlebrush-shaped flowers they like are high in pollen, but most won't grow in my zone anyway.
Thank you everyone. Mrs. Ed, you're welcome anytime. You could also make a stop in southern Arizona to see still more hummingbirds!
Pollengarden, love that name! Hope you'll be able to find some plants that will grow in your area. Could you maybe plant some things in large pots that you could bring indoors in the winter?
Always enjoy seeing your photos duc, they have so much detail to them.
Duc, your pictures are wonderful. I never seem to have my camera when my humminbird comes. I only have one small red capped hummingbird that comes, but I sure enjoy it.
