to show you some pictures of Botanica here in Wichita. My daughter and I went last Friday and had a wonderful time.
Today's Autumn weather inspired me....
this was one of my favorites. The dark foliage with the bright shiny berries was simply gorgeous.

Great pics, babeegirl....good to see ya. Really fine statue...
the sidewalk goes by the staue of the pioneer woman and as you pass by her she's looking off to the south over her shoulder. You tend to look at what she's looking at on down the path and never really see her face. There was a cleared spot in the area where I took the picture so I stepped off the path to get the shot. She's totally surrounded by wildflowers and it was a bit eery how she emerges from the foliage as if she's been standing there watching you from her hiding place.
Considering what she represents, she is sorta watching you from her hiding place in the Past....The Spirit of Pioneer Women.......grin
I'm hoping to find some of the pepper plants above in the second picture. I can't begin to describe how dramatic these presented as a bedding garden. The plot was circular about 9 feet across surrounding a tree. Simply stunning.
See if any of these links work for you....at least it will be a start...grin Moon

beautiful pics Pebbles! How are you?
I have seen some ornamental peppers out there with purple peppers on black leaves, they were very striking plants. I almost bought some but I had to concentrate on other areas so I didn't. Moon can probably pop in and tell you just what they are.
babegirl just gotta love a well thought out flower garden, thanks for sharing
