first 2 weekends in october

It lasts for 2 whole weeks?

no just friday thru sunday both weekends....its like 100 miles or something of basically jam packed flea markets....absolutely fun if you have money and time

I am back...Had a great weekend, glad to be home though.

trina, sorry, I never said collecting the seeds would be easy.
Actually, I don't mind it because when I collect them, the plants are about done blooming and i get a lot more seed pods then. And when I snip those seed pods off, the plants start to blossom again some.

You should have saw the seeds from the Hen and chicks then..........Wow, so tiny I needed a Magnifying Glass to see them to make sure they were seeds..........LOL

i have learned 1 thin...well 2 things since I found out I could collect seeds from some things

1. Let the kids do the Hollyhock seeds, because they sent my lungs into total reject mode

2. If you stick a large metal dinosaur in your garden, remember that his arms hit dead center of you back when your pinching the coleus, and it's very painful when you stand up suddenly and slam into his 3 long rebar fingers on his right hand!

those give out seeds too? I didn't know that...I thought they just spread slowly with their babies...how do you get those seeds?

and can I separate a chick from the hen and plant it somewhere else?
