Charlene
yes, you know I will share the Pic's, I love Pic's, the winter time it's great to see anything Blooming
Elizabeth
New Pic's of my Brugs
that's pretty Dee. Does it smell good?
Does the cool weather mellow out the color?
Delicate pink.
Charlene
the size of the Brugs, I donated, could you imagine, the room they would have taken up, even if I trimmed them, I hate to throw away clippings, that's how I ended up with soooo many Frosty Pinks, everyone of the clppings I took last fall from just one FP took root, now I have room for a lot of my doubles, then next couple days I will be taking up about 6 more Brugs, I think now I can manage the rest fairly easy, the rootball on those FP I bet was 20 inches around, but the nice thing about Brugs, they are pretty easy to pop up, you just dig a circle around the whole rootball, then just stand on the shovel, up them come
Elizabeth
Charlene
it does smell good, all of them have a great scent, but Summer Kisses, yes I know show the Pic, anyway it still has a great scent, I wish we had smellavision, to go with the Pic's, I have a small maya, in the kitchen, but it doesn't have a scent, I think they have to be outside, I will get Pic's tommorrow, BTW I will be taking it easy tommorrow, i have to rest up, the tackle the Brug digging
Elizabeth
Wow, that is one huge bloom, and so pretty.I can hardly wait til next summer.Ooooh....gotta go look up Summer Kisses...never heard of that one..Dee
Elizabeth, do you have Flamenco? I like the looks of it, in the pics that I've seen.
Dee
JT sessions, at Country Gardens, that's his creation, Summer Kisses, the Brug in the Pic, is Miss Emily Mckenzie
I have to post a Pic of Summer Kisses, it's a double, kinda of Creme colored right now, but all my Brugs Blooming are a lighter color, than they were a month ago, Velvet Rose is a lighter pink now, so is Painted Lady, Golden Lady should be open in about 3 days if the Frost doesn't come early, it's only suppose to be 40 degrees tonight, when it drops down to 38 degrees, the funs all over, they will be dug up for sure
Elizabeth
I am still waiting for my noid pink blooms. It is almost there I think, but was still at the yellow stage this evening, but is starting to unfurl...Hopefully tomorrow..
Dee
Dee
that would be sooo nice for you to wake up in the morning to see Blooms, is it suppose to be 40 degrees, there tonight? I hope the next couple days it warms up at night, I will be getting the basement ready tomorrow night just in case. tomorrow, I am resting, kinda of like regrouping, so I can take care of what needs to be taken care of, oh the one thing I will do tommorrow is take a Pic of Miss B Havin, she's in full Bloom now
Elizabeth
Our average night temps are 46 this week with it warming back up to 51 on Friday I thing .It's still yellow and not opened, darn. Since I am planning on taking tall straight cutting and trying to root them in a bucket of water over the winter, do you think that it would finish opening, if I went ahead and did that?Or should I just leave it til the last minute? What to do..what to do?? I look forward to seeing your pic of Miss B Having. You know I love brug pics.
Dee
Hey, Charleen, you promised us a pic of your new bed. Come on, cough it up girl. I need to see pictures of gardens that haven't succrumed (misp?) to the cold..
Dee
O.K. Dee , here it is. Brugless for Now, but next spring, LookOut!! Then they will go in ,
I don't want to push my luck now, so I will wait. Dee, do you see your Pink Hydrangea?
By the little gnome. It t and the Lilac went in first, then this week end DH tilled it
and I planted it. Still have mulching to do. Do you like it? See Missy up there? She's
with me when I am out.
Charleen , that is going to be beautiful.! It's so nice and big!
Dee
Oh, Thank you. See your Hydrangea? It is looking so Good.
Charleen
Yep, I see it. It does look good.It is one that blooms on old and new wood, so it should bloom great for you, down south!
Dee
Elizabeth, you know what they remind me of? Little girls skirts with their
slips hanging out. Isn't that precious?? Cause those blooms are precious.
GordonHawk gave me an idea to take pics. He lays on the ground and shoots
from there. Good Idea for short ones, isn't it???
Oh, that is PRETTY! Reminds me of the old cancan (crinolins?) slips.Remember those girls?

Charlene
they do look like that don't they, I am down to 22 to dig now, I got my rest today, tommorrow I will be cleaning the Basement getting it ready, I hope we have 2 more weeks of nice weather, Gordon's idea is a great one, he does a great job with his Brugs, right now you can get some good deals on gardening stuff, it's all getting marked down
I just wish they would start marking down potting soil, I will be glad next spring you will have an awesome Brug bed
Elizabeth
Dee
I remember those, I hope you get the Miss B havin, you will love it, is it raining there today? gave me agood excuse to stay in, I sure am going to miss these above freezing days, my SIL got me a digital picture frame for mothers day, you can sit here & look at the Pic's of the snow we had back in Feb. then go outside to nice weather it's great, also it holds 3000 Pic's, I need to put a lot of the Pics on it, also you can use it for a comparison to what your garden looked in the beginning of Spring & look at it now
Elizabeth
those pic frames are neat. Yes, I have two sspots that i am saving for two brugs.
Frosty Pink and the Pumkin, I'm thinking. What do you all think?
maybe I can flank thepumkin wtih two Frosty's.
They don't put potting soil on sale very often.
Charlene
the Pumkin may by Versa color Orange, it's a wildform, if the lady finds the tag, the way a versa color orange does is it's starts yellow, then when the bloom is about done, it turns the color of the inside of a pumpkin, I hope she finds the tag for you, maybe that's why she calls it pumpkin, you 2 spots should do great, with all the manure you have, those Brugs should grow to 7or8 ft. in no time
Elizabeth
I won't be laying on the ground to take pictures, will I?? Sure didn't this year with my pink NOID.
We have all enjoyed that gir and all your babies too. Let's face it, Dee and I are addicted to Brugs.
We learn more every day. Thanks for all the help.
Charleen

I live in ohio, so we are going to see how they do in her zone & mine, I just got done digging more Brugs up

Charlene

internet, it's suppose to be much quicker than Zoomtown, I have to pay a month in advance, I am switching from Direct T.V. they want a fortune, cable is less expensive, then I will have the funds to send your Box, I will see if I can put you a couple special plants in there also
