Hey all. This is my first time growing pumpkins, and I really don't know whether or not they are ripe. They are Luminas, so they are white. The vines are beginning to die, but stems are still green. I actually pulled one off about a month ago, and it's been sitting on my front porch the whole time. Doesn't look bad, sounds hollow when thumped, but I'm not sure if it'd still be safe to eat. Any help would be great!
Lumina pumpkin ripeness
The planting guide says Lumina Pumpkins are ready for harvest in 95 to 120 days. Perhaps someone may have a more exact way of testing for ripeness.
