Lovely Chickadee, Pelle. You need to buy one of those houses at Cape May and set it up as a boarding house for other birdwatchers.

The travelling circus dropped in for a quick snack just after sunrise this morning. They stayed for about 10 minutes then went on their merry way to create havoc elsewhere. Don't be fooled by the blue sky. We're expecting more rain today.

Pity they weren't here an hour later when the light was better.

Hi Margaret (or anyone), I was reading about the 7D; does it not have Image Stabilization? It looks very interesting but is expensive.

Few from yesterday . In the backyard I got the crow to pose for me!

Then I went walking around and found a lot of Blue Birds but none of them would get where the light was good!

Nice collection of shots nanny. I used to have lots of C Chickadees, but have only seen one recently - and that was yesterday. But I still have lots of house finches.

I've been seeing a couple male Goldfinches with young-uns, though.

Margaret I just love the circus shots! Those are the most beautiful birds.

I can't get a shot of anything except Hummers, Goldfinches and Cardinals...poor me...LOL!! I did see a Hairy Woodpecker this morning but no shot..I'm sure he will be back though, they love the dead tree.

Here is my daily shot of a juvenile Cardinal...and it's a boy! I have named him One Feather!!

A sweet little juvie American Goldfinch...they are all over the place!!

I just love the face on this little one...so cute! The adults are starting to lose they breeding colors too.

I think it is a Tennessee Warbler...I can not find very many of my pics from last year to compare them!


A DUH momoment I went to the birdfiles and it looks like the pics there...which happen to be mine...LOL!!!!!

LOL, Nanny, I have those duhhh moments too. I don't feel so alone anymore.:) Good one of the Tennessee Warbler, they are not easy bird to photograph.

I can't believe it, but I have House Sparrows building nests in all three of my birdhouses.
