37F and still raining this is disgusting weather
hoping it changes soon still need to bring in the firewood for the winter and it will now need to dry before we can do it, last night we used the rest of what we had
finally the chainsaw is fixed only took them three weeks to do it lol slow as melasses
so now I wait for the rain to stop so we can cut and bring in some more
Bummer. My pellet stove went on. Nice to see the fire.
I've had the heat on since Aug.--or maybe July---can't let the house chill for DH---not that it helped this year. Gray looking out there today, & chilly---I've got indoor painting to do this pm---hope it's sunnier by then.
When the sun's out it is a gorgeous day here.

Screensaver, the elves make toys on an assembly line: toy horses go thru shoots, toy trains go out on tracks, etc etc. The calendar counts down the days to X-mas and Santa peeks in to check in on the elves every now and then, as the days get closer the pace changes and reindeers start lining up outside the window and looking to see how the elves are doing, while the Nutcracker Suite plays.

no heat on here - windows still open and the ceiling fan going at night - we have been having fires every night now for a couple weeks watching the sox lose:)
Will be colder & rain on Sat. We have an iris meeting in Maine & DH not looking forward to the drive back with the rain. We go up part way Fri afternoon--the days are past when DH could do the drive up & back the same day. It's hard on his back.
my in-laws stayed over in portland, nh and had a good time and nice dinner when they went to ll bean the other day
We are lazy & do LLBean by catalog. Friends says that they have bug repellant garments (socks, t-shirts & hat for genenal public now as well as forest workers etc. They help against ticks?
Can you believe we have an LL Bean in CT? About 30 min away. Cool screensaver WC2! No heat yet...unless you count the fish tank and the grow lights--they do a pretty good job heating this room!
i stopped a ll bean for the first time a few years ago - was not overwhelmed - what i meant was to stop in portsmouth and enjoy a good meal, i've heard great things about it a few times.
