Farmville or Farmtown

What is it all about?

I think its a computer game online.
Not my cup of tea,my daughter plays World of Warfare.
When are they going to introduce games that deal with peace and negotiated disputes and higher standards for office help

I guess when it becomes a popular idea.

We could use a fun game, online, about gardening. Like which of these plants take up very little foot space and other things like that.

It is nothing like World of Warcraft which my son plays. He quit recently and sold his account for like $300.00 to someone who didn't want to start from scratch.
Farmville is through Facebook the idea is to build a farm from scratch. You start with a certain number of plots and you have to till and plant and harvest. You received coins towards buying more assets and the get credits for work experience and as you move up in levels, more assets become available until you get plantations and everything. Then you get to help your neighbors by chasing off crows, pulling weeds, etc when they are away. You also get to send each other gifts like chickens, cows, trees, etc to add to your farm. It's just a fun way to do virtual gardening, especially for those you are stuck inside all winter. Many of my co-workers are playing too.

Wish nI had invented digital animation. It fascinates all ages.
World of Warcraft IS the one my DD plays

My 13 adn 15 yo sons play both -ville and -town on facebook. They just started. Say it's fun, wish I could get them interested in the real thing though.

I hear you. I've always been a single parent. My 21 yr old is a senior in college, doesn't drink, doesn't do drugs. never in trouble with the law. Guess I've done something right. LOL (Although you might not think so to hear him tell it!)

I will be your neighbor. My son and lots of my friends play it. I am farmtown, that is the adult version.

Farmville sounds like lots of fun, if I had the time! I can waste way to much time with just ZUMA or spider solitaire.

What else can you snowbirds do all winter indoors? LOL

I check my farm when I come home from work and if I am off work, I check when I need a rest. I find it to be fun. We are kinda in a race to see who can get to the higher level first.
My husband asked me, so how is my farm girl doing tonight, and do I have a wood shop on that farm.

I can decide between a tractor and a harvester tonight. My finger gets tired from clicking all those garden plots. LOL

I am glad that they made it faster to plow and plant. I finaly can let them plow. Oh and all the new stuff we can buy. shoot I need a bigger farm....lol. I had one guy get mad at me after he harvested my crops, when I told him that I didnt have the power yet to let him plow.

I am still looking for a couple more farmers. Know anyone who might be interested? My farm is very cramped.

sounds fun but I just don't have the time. Maybe the January slump will perk things up.
