What does DH stands for?

Katy, TX

:)

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

I believe it to stand for darling husband. It took me a long time to figure those Ds. An endearing term we use ;)

Katy, TX

darling husband? That is sweet. I was thinking H stands for Handy, so took me a while to wander what dose D stands for. Thanks Magnolia!

Darn Handy That's cute ;)

You're quite welcome Ivyao.

And then there's DDH, which is not so endearing....

Troy, NY(Zone 5b)

I was going to say dear husband.........................but that sounds like the opening of the letter that tells him I left with the landscape architect.

DH is dear/darling husband. I look at it this way if he puts up with the money I spend and the holes I make him dig he is a "dear" in my book.

Liberty Hill, TX(Zone 8a)

Those are definately not the letters that I would use for my ex. But I can sure think of some others.

I'll admit it. When I first joined I thought it meant Dirty Hands :)

Troy, NY(Zone 5b)

When my dirty hands finished digging the holes and wandered across the street to drink with the neighbors.....................

Canyon Lake, TX(Zone 8b)

Where have I been? I thought it meant Dumb Husband.

Lisa,
That's where the DDH comes in handy.

Council Hill, OK

After so many witty responses, I'm embarrased to offer "Dead head", to cut the flower head?

SE Houston (Hobby), TX(Zone 9a)

Dead head is pretty good. Even better when the dead head is removed from hi...er...its body...

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Sometimes it means Darn Husband, to say it nicely. LOL

(Bre) Sellersville, PA(Zone 7a)

LOL. It does stand for dear/darling husband - as goes for dw - dear wife, dd - dear daughter, ds dear son, dsil dear sister in law... etc..
But then again depending on my mood, the "d" can stand for other words ^_^
