Pretty garden ge! Love the garden protector bear!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Its a hoot.
Somehow I like it in with the artsy-fartsy sculptures.
SIL gave it to DD for crismas.
We had a tree taken down and I didnt want to just perch a pot on the spot.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

i will have to try pinching the balloon flowers next year - mine are 4 ft tall and fall if not staked, even if they are staked they have pulled the stake out of the ground - i'm also finding little voluteer's everywhere from them.

very pretty!!

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Bill, I think I like that Sunshine Blue caryopteris best, though I like all of them. That's a real stunner!

Jo Anne, you have some nice stuff going on in your gardens. I like your collages. Your agastache 'Apache Sunset' is especially nice.

Victor, I love your dragonfly shots, especially the one with the out-of-focus ligularia flowers in the bg. Victor, that's too bad you have such bad reactions to the skeeter bites. They bite me, and itch for a bit, but then the itching goes away shortly. My friend Karen has a terrible time with bug bites of any kind. She has very sensitive skin anyhow, and gets rashes really easily. She can't use rubber or nitrile or plastic gloves of any kind, as her hands will sweat really badly, and she'll get a rash.

Hey, are hostas related to that plantain weed? I know they are called plantain lilies.

Celeste, nice pics, as usual. I have that Jolly Bee geranium, too, and mine keeps on blooming. It's not fragrant, though, like they advertise it to be. I love your gorgeous hibiscus, too!

Marilyn, your phlox and Olallie DL are very pretty. So is the salvia. I planted a lot of cosmos seeds, too, and rabbits ate most of the seedlings before they even had a chance to get any size at all. Very disappointing. That John Davis rose is very pretty.

Allison, that natural bug repellent sounds good. I might try it.

Pensecola, First Belle is pretty. Is that a brugmansia?

Karen

Pensacola, FL(Zone 8b)

Yes it is a Brugmansia one of my favorites here is another one this one is called salmon perfection it hasnt bloomed yet so I will bring it indoors in the Winter.
