Clematis Question
tam I have never grown them from seed, so can't help you but I'm sure someone will come along pretty soon with the info.
Yes just leave them on - They won't hurt the germination. Clematis are not the easiest plant to start from seeds ... some species are easier than others. This site has some helpful tips - http://dialspace.dial.pipex.com/clematis/seeds.htm#s2
Good site! I germinated some last year using the Winter Sowing Technique... was successful with 'Sweet Autumn', and have two large vines to show for my efforts! I suppose asking for flowers this yewar would be greedy?! John
