What spider?

Can anyone help me identify these spiders seen on a rose bush in my garden at the beginning of June? Each spider was less than a quarter of an inch across and spread out from a ball about two inches across

Wow ! That's a LOT of spiders !

Try posting this in the BugFilesPictures forum. There's a section on spiders which might identify what they are.
