I'm looking for potential sources for the plant.I was lucky enough to get 2 from a local store but I've not seen them since.I'd like to get several different color varieties of the species that work in my zone?

There is a link on Cacti and succulents that gives you some links to vendors. It is the first message at the top marked (STICKY).

Also, at the top of the screen is a link called Products and sources. There you can find quite a bit of info on vendors and their service and reliability.
