Tropical Garden # 49

They are suppose to die over the winter, but they don't. They remain fairly demure most of the time, and then in August they just pop up into a giant shrub seemingly overnight.

Jerii11, I do not know the name of your plumeria. I do know that it is very pretty with lovely colors.

RachelLF, that is a very nice color on your hibiscus standard.

Rj, I cannot believe that I got the name wrong. I want one like yours, it is a cool looking Palm tree. DH found that one in Rockport.
I wish I could help you with your trimming and clipping. I would probably bring all the clippings home with me.

Tropicbreeze, thanks for the proper name for the Palm. I will be happy if it lives long enough to make seeds.

phughes, thanks, that hibiscus name is a easy one for me to remember. Sorry that you are not getting to enjoy your new Hibiscus blooms. I hope each will give you a bloom this weekend.
Maybe you could start a take your Hibiscus to work day. LOL

vossner, thank you.

ardesia, did you bring a Paw Paw fruit home with you?

Time to start a new thread # 50, anyone !!

Save me a guava....I want to have a guava tree..mmmm..yum yum.. Now if I can grow some Butter Pears, I'll be happy....(avacados) - The type we had in africa were about a foot long and 10 inches round..they looked like mini water melons..

R.J. Your jungle is paradise in my eye's! Enjoyed each and everyone of your picture's you applied here. Dont' do to much sheering/clipping over your two day's off this weekend;-)

Will catch up on the new thread.
