Looks like he's trying to figure out the feeder.

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

That's a finch disguised as a hummer! No soup for you! (lol)

- Took a pic of this dahlia before it gets blown away by storms, (it'll last longer that way!) lol!

Great looking dahlia---and many nice photos, Allison. None from me today---had a cyst drained on one wrist, & cortisone injected into both wrists---I can barely type, not able to hold & focus a camera!

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Ouch! Sorry to hear that! Best wishes for a speedy recovery! ☺

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

A ganglion cyst???

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Marilyn, looks like the new camera is working out well for you. Nice shots. Hope that cyst gets better soon!

Gorgeous Double Sweetheart, Allison! That pic of the baloon flower with the pink roses behind is nice. Love your coleus shot, and the white with red edge begonia flower is very nice! Randy's sunflowers are looking great!

Pensacola, congrats on your hummer shot!

Great mallow shots with BES in the background, Bill! They're stunning!

aaahhhh Karen.. those are double impatiens not roses.. ity bity flowers.. but flowering like crazy.. NC farms fooled me into thinking they were larger flowers... but I am still loving them

this is what I thought they were... they don't say that's a 2 inch container they are in
(hopefully the link will work)

Well, whatever they are, they are pretty! Sure look like roses. Had me fooled!

very nice J.P.W.... I planted that a couple years back... it didn't return for me... just kept saying I can only grow bad weeds

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

I am going to take some cuttings of them to hopefully overwinter them.... they were a pleasant surprise

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

LOL!

Here they are in a bed they share with DL's and bee balm. They're kind of crowding everything out. Will have to redo that bed soon.

Here's the DL bed on the other side of the path from where the JPW is. This bed will get redone soon, as it's rather crowded and I need to move some of the DL's around.

DL Chester's Cyclone. Nice looking bloom, but the scapes are too short for this flower for my liking, they need staking, and usually the top petal breaks from its own weight. We'll see how it does next year. This is it's 2nd year for me. If it's not better next year then it's going.

Another shot of it with the scape propped up so that it can show its stuff better. In the previous shot it was drooping close to the ground.
