I guess put me down for a dessert... unless you have a request!
Melanie
Do tell me the other "details"... I have not read every post here,... is there a fee, and a door prize something? Anything else I need to know???
North Central Texas Fall Roundup October 4th.
Just go to the first post that Frostweed started the thread with. She should have all of that info in that area, rather than me retyping and forgetting something.
Sheila is right, it is all there at the top.
I will put you down for a desert Melanie.
Debnes + 4

Sheila, thanks very much for the suggestions/ideas - gives us newbies a clue about what to buy. :)
Brisket sounds great Deb, I will put you guys on the attendance list and will post the food when you decide.
Josephine.
I will bring a dessert and some 2 liter bottles of soda.
Yea!!! I'm able to go. I may bring a plant loving friend of mine if it's ok. I have very few plants I can bring due to the fact that most everything I have is less than a year old. As far as food goes I can bring chips and such.
O.K. Catzgalore, I will put yo on the list.
Bump-Bump!!!!!!!!!!!!
Count for us, is for 3!!! City_Sylvia, Smock, & just me!
Don't know what those other chefs are making but I will bring a Sopailla (sp) Cheesecake!!! If I am going to make it, guess I should learn to spell it but those who have had it, know it is a must at DG RU!!!!!!
Never can have too much desserts, right?
:~)
Right!!! I am so glad you guys are coming !!! I will put you on the list.
So glad you guys are going to make it this year Alyce!! look forward to seeing you.
Put me down for potato salad.
Carla
This is my first RU. I'm so excited to meet all of you. I have some sanseviera parva I can bring starts of if anyone is interested. I also have some very small starts of EE yellow splash.
I'm bringing chicken tamales and beans. I cheated and ordered them from a very good cook.
catszgalore, I would be interested in your Yellow Splash. Check my list for what I am bringing or D-mail me, I have lots of EE. Thanks
quilter_gal, thank you for the tamales and beans.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Loonie1 thank you for the potato salad.
I put you both on the list.
Josephine.
Marcia & I would like to make it, will be a last minute decision, not sure if we can. Had fun at the spring RU. If so we will bring something to add to the food court. Don't have much to trade, still waiting to collect most of my seeds and have not even attempted dividing plants yet.
Great, i hope you can make it Chuck and Marcia.
I will be bringing a couple of friends. Hoping to make them members!
Excellent!!!
could someone tell me ideas for what to bring for the door prize thing... I want to get somethin good!
The question was asked earlier in this thread, so I am attaching the post where I answered the other person. Just don't spend much if you buy new.
Here goes..

What is still needed? If they are still needed, I can bring plates and napkins (already have them here). I can also bring a couple of bags of ice. If those are already filled, then I can bring whatever else is needed: baked beans, dessert, etc.
I have papergoods covered but looks like we need more ice and water?
Yes, ice and water would be great. Thank you Pattie.
k, ice and water it is.
I'm sorry I'm so late in posting, but I will be there with my daughter Sherill and her husband David. We will bring dessert and chips and dips. We'll bring a book for the prizes. I'll post plants tomorrow.
Glad you three will make it, missed you in the spring.
Great! I am glad you are coming, but remember it is one door prize per person, so you need three.
I will add you all to the list.
Josephine.
It looks like the weather forecast may not be in our favor for Sunday....60% chance of rain....
Well, I hope they are wrong, you never know.
If it is pouring down rain, is the event canceled or ???
O.K. GUYS, HERE IS THE LINK TO THE FIRST POST ON THIS THREAD

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Instead of starting another thread which makes it more confusing I have decided to keep it all together.
I have posted there the links to the attendance and food, as well as the link to the trade thread.
Everything you need to know is there, so please read it all, and if you still have questions, please ask.
Your friend,
Josephine.
DH and I will not be eating. Will bring 2-liter bottles of Dr. Pepper, Coke/Pepsi and Sprite.
Glenna
Thank you Glenna, I will list it in the post.
Glenna....as to your question about rain.....No it will not be cancelled. Josephine has paid for the rental of the park earlier this year and needs to get her money back. We are close enough to the cars in case someone wants to take cover or leave, but there is a roof over the food and door prizes. The plants will love the water and we can bring umbrellas.
Or you can wear a poncho! It'll be like camping out!
Considering I usually garden in the rain, this will be fine...
