North Central Texas Fall Roundup October 4th.
Oh , I wish I could be there too , and meet all of you . I'll be on my way to south Tex . to move a mobile home to put on my lots at Rockport . It will be so nice to be a Texan again , even if for six mo . out of the year .

Ok put me down to bring all papergoods and utensils and the ham. With goods left from last year and my leftovers from other times I won't have to get anything except paper towels and a few plates. We have plenty dessert plates and bowls, napkins, and utensils. We have 24 plastic glasses and I have small foam cups covered. With bottle water etc., that is enough. Oh, and we have the soap dispenser from last year too.
We might ask that anyone bringing dishes that require serving spoons etc, bring them (label them so you get them back!).
Josephine....I will have the name tags ready and bring markers for the sign in table, not pre-printing names this time. We also have two or three items that were leftover door prizes and I am bringing extras too. Do you want to do the same as we did last year with the numbers on our name tags?

You can't go wrong with lots of desserts since we meet after some have already had lunch.
That is right,, but we still need side dishes, bread, rolls, chips, pop or water, and deserts.
One suggestion on the door prizes...don't let the little slips with the numbers fly away! LOL
Does anyone remember what the door prizes were last year? I'd like to get an idea of what would be appropriate. :)

Well I can't remember anything except the "La Poop" manure that was a big hit. But we have had a large variety in the past. A few things that pop into my head are... gloves, hand tools, fancy pots, watering cans, large plants, gardening books, candles, yard art of any kind, birdhouses, feeders, suet cakes, etc. Also anything of good condition that would be useful to someone, preferably garden related, even if it is used; like a plant stand you no longer use. Hope that gives you some ideas.
Just please don't spend more than a few dollars on new items, bring one for each person attending and extras if you wish. We keep drawing until everyone has something. Then you can swap if you wish!
I would love to come but don't know if my schedule will allow. Do we have to sign up or can we just show up if I can work around my schedule?
By all means if you can come at the last minute do so. We would love to meet you.
Yes do show up and I will bring you some EE. I do not have the ones in your have list but I bet I can find something you will like.
