There are the most gorgeous zinnias mixed with large marigolds at a nearby mall... they are spectacular, and I want that kind of color next fall...
What zinnias are your favorites? Do they need coddling or special watering or are they easy like marigolds and begonias?
What are your favorite zinnias?
Hi Janie,
I like the "cut and come again" - many blooms, easy to care for and always enough for cut flowers.
Cindy
I just love any zinnias, they are really nice cheerful flowers, one of my favourite annuals.
I love Zinnias too.. planted some seeds about a month ago (or so) & they are starting to bloom now. I guess it makes a difference being in zone 8..Sis do U have any of the giant California seeds extra for sase?
Cindy how about the cut & come again ones *S*
Let me know please. Thanks,

Thanks Sis I sure will.. we are preparing a bed for zinnias now.. having to amend it as our soil isn't too good.. They bring back childhood memories in CA.
Thanks Sugar_fl
Sis, we are pretty new to gardening.. we have so many flowers we want but being senior citizen we have to go kinda slow.. we are making some lasagna beds..one I want to buy next spring is hygerania (sp)BAD spelling *G* Anyway my grandmother had hugh ones..I have never seen ones so large since but to a 6 year old I guess everything seems larger. This was in CA.
