Very pretty.
My dahlia(first time with them) is about 3' tall and no signs of a flower bud, planted in a container in June, was that too late? or are there later blooming ones?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks, Dyane. Nice hibiscus. Which is it?

Great dahlia shots, Jo Anne.

Nice colors, Robin.

Dyane.... has that Coreopsis 'copper penny' proven to be a perennial for you? It's a great color! Same with Echie 'Coral Reef!'

Pixie.... Ohhh Holy Cow! That's an amazing amount of lilies! I'm so envious! I would love to be your neighbor too!

Jo Ann... that second Dahlia that you posted, Appleblossom, is fantastic!!! I love all the colors in it.

Robin... very pretty!

Victor....of course that's a beautiful hibiscus.

Dragonfly.... what lovely views those are!

Ngam....In the prior thread you had mentioned how much some cats look like the king of the jungle. Well this isn't quite the pose the I call Precious's 'Pharoah pose', but it's as close as I've been able to get a picture of since she tries to run away from the camera most of the time.

Hi RC
Great cat pic.
Thanks fro the compliments everyone. The dahlia pix are all on the same plant (how do they do that ?)
The garden is winding down and I'm getting ready to put lily and tulip bulbs in a few weeks October.
Too rainy and humid to work.
Grandson dug out the boreing hosta so now I have room for lilies.
Just planted about 60 daylilies in this garden and another.
November brings 2 yards of compost which will go everywhere.

.these dahls are from a carribean collection, not very impressive as far as color goes.

Shelly,
Precious does look regal in that pose. Great shot.

I finally got an ID on a great DL I received by mistake. I like it better than the one I ordered :)

Very Georgia O'Keefe, Victor! Jo Ann---great purple dahlia, the collection was worth it for that one. Shelley---Precious is very regal---she knows it! Jen---lots of dahlias are late---there's hope yet. Dyane, really want that DL---love the purple. Bev, nice photos---I like the combo of daisies. No photos here today---busy with company & then it rained---again.

Thanks, Robin.

Jen - this is my first time planting dahlias too, also planted late June. They're about 4-5 feet tall now and just won't stop blooming.

Here's a white one. Measures 8" across.
