Still amazes at how you can look back and see a 25 yo but not forward from a baby and see a 25 yo! You know what I mean, I just can't say it right.

Here's me and my friend at the beach. I'm probably about 8 or 9 years old. I'm on the right.

Here I am in 5th grade, probably the same age as in the previous photo.

Dyane, I shaved my head too!! I was a little older, though. I was 23 and did it again at 27. Each time I kept it that way for over a year. I'll see if I have any photos from then.

I agree, the younger Harper pictures look just like her, whereas in 1988 (with a perm?) it's harder to tell it's her! You're probably right, Maria, 20/20 foresight would be scary!

Victor, I nearly shaved my head in October - I got into a big conversation with the hairdresser, wasn't paying attention, and next thing i knew I was nearly bald. DH told the kids not to say anything about it!

I would not suggest to anyone to shave the hir off their heads, as you get older and older and older it may get less and less like mine has, one of these days if I live that long I will be bald without my say so.

thanks everyone! Victor, I think I'm done shaving my head for now. It was so easy to take care of though... not quite tempting enough.

I guess I'm reverting back to my childhood. Do I get to eat ice cream and go swimming every day for summer?

I have posted this before on the forum - my great-grandfather's birthday. He is surrounded by his five sons. My grandfather is the one in the shirt and suspenders. Looks like it's right out of the Godfather!

Thanks, she also was a wonderful mother, I remeber when the air raid started to warn us from the bombing I asked her what would she do this minute if we were to die , she said I would just finish what I am doing right now. She was washing dishes.
