Pensacola, FL(Zone 8b)

Here is some of my hibiscus

Here are a few pictures of things blooming in my garden right now.
The first one is of one of my Brugs a single yellow, which has a nice
smell to it.

This Brug is a double pink. I find that these flowers don't like
to fully open and the second and/or third petels on the inside don't
come out. But it's smells nice too.

I want a double or triple brug, especially white. I already have white, yellow and pink singles.

This picture is of my double to triple peach brug that I planted in the ground

LiliMerci, what a pleasure it must be, for you to wake up to those beautiful morning glory flowers every day. I love your yellow plumeria.

Rj, how about checking out ShadesSails.com for colourful canopy for your big fern? I am thinking of getting one for my back yard.
I read your blog. My Red Flame is blooming as well.

Ardesia, I enjoyed looking at all your pictures, it seems as if the pink Jatropha is hard to find. I found a lot of the red at HD but no pink. The Ruttya Fruticosa is a new plant for me to research.

Sunshinesw, great plants!!! my RC is fixing to bloom again. I transplanted and trimmed it a few months ago.
Your rat tail plant is very cute.

Pensacolagarden, thanks for sharing your beautiful pink hibiscus with us. I was very disappointed with mine this year, they were not upright like yours. The branches were laying on the ground, I had to stake them up.

Planter56, I have to admit that I am totally jealous of your double peach Brug. It is very pretty. I do have one but it hasn't bloomed in the last 3 years. Your Kahi Ginger is looking good too.

Joeswife, nice pictures. Is your fuzzy plant a Hoya? I know the name of this little vine, can anyone guess what it is?

Candela, thanks for sharing your vacation pictures with us. I am planning on visiting Puerto Rico one day soon.
This is another beauty that you shared with me.

that's a good idea, shadesail.
I think the Red Cloaks really loved the hot summer, I don't think I remember their leaves looking so lush and dark green, no nibbles ...perfect.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 9a)

That brom is awesome!

Rita, I think the only place where those pink jatrophas are available is southeast Texas. There are a couple places in FL that have them in their catalogs but they are never available for shipping. They are very slow growers and they don't set seeds as far as I can tell.

Wayne had some earlier this year..I have one...any way to propagate it?

Buffalo, NY

Hey Rita, nice to see ya. I've had that double peach for about 4 years now. Never fails to bloom. I'm surprised that your's hasn't bloomed.
They do like lots of water and fertilizer I know that. You might try taking a cutting and starting over too. I have a cutting that is growing very well out the front garden and is about to bloom for the first time. I'll dig it up in fall and bring it in. I'll probably be taking extra cuttings from the big one in back just in case. The flowers actually start out whitish and then as they age they get pink and then peach :). this is the first year I've trying planting my brugs in the ground up here.
