I have a geranium in my front yard which is potted. It was doing very well, but now the leaves are starting to turn yellow and brown at the end. I deadhead it regularly and water it regularly and new leaves are starting to come up, yet I'm still getting yellow and brown on the ends. Does anyone know why?
Geranium
Which geranium do you have? Overwatering is usually the culprit but it could be something else. Can we see a picture?
I'll take a picture and forward it later. I'll also cut back on the watering. Thank you.
I wouldn't cut back on the watering until you check to see if that's actually the problem. Overwatering is definitely a good possibility, but over and and underwatering both have similar symptoms, and there could be other possibilities as well. Try sticking your finger down into the pot and see how wet things are--if it's very wet then the problem likely is overwatering and you should cut back.
