I recently planted a beautiful shade garden that included Tiger Lillys. Unfortunatly the squirrels are enjoying the garden as much as I am. They are eating the leaves off of the Tiger Lillys and have even pulled one out of the ground and ran off with it. Does anyone have ideas as to how I can prevent the plants from being so attractive to the squirrels?

I've read that hot pepper tea sprayed on the plants will keep them away. I had 5 juvinal delinquet squirrels making a mess of my front porch. They;ve just disappeared. I have no doubt but that they will be back.
I keep switching the deterrents I use so they don't get used to them...garlic, mothballs, irish spring soap and liquid fence. So far so good.
