Jo Ann your gonna love this...
In May & June it rained and I dared not plant my poppy seeds. I waited to the end of June/1st of July but then worried it was going to be to late, but I planted them anyway. Well they started blooming today!

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Wow......Tex....what kind of fertilizer do you use??!! What a staggering, jaw -dropping show of photos!! That "nothing fancy" shot you started with blew me away! And it just kept getting better!

Victor - love Peppermint and those coral berries!!! All of your shots were so sharp and bright!

Pixie....I just love it when you give me previews of the surprises to come in my Pixie Garden! Gorgeous!!

Great shots from everyone!! Whew!!!

Thomaston, CT

My thoughts exactly---what a great selection of plants---my lists grow longer....

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks, all!

Very nice, Celeste! Angelique is tempting. I'll have to keep her in mind. Does Baywatch jiggle in the breeze?? Funny that it's followed by Sorbonne. Talk about sore buns!

neat shot Victor

southern willamette , OR(Zone 7a)

Dang.... I'm sooooo far behind again. Way too much going on to comment on it all.

Today it actually rained here for the first time in a couple of months. Feels great after the last 2 weeks! Today, thurs., was fully 45 deg. cooler than one week ago!! That differential almost seems hard to imagine for this time of year.

Everyones pics are looking good!!

Dyane.... You're making me think that I need to find one of those coral reef echies!

Tex.... your garden is beautiful and I love all of the echinaceas!

Pixie... so many lovely liles!

Victor... Great shots. I would like to put your pardancanda sangria together with Dyane's Echie coral reel, somewhere in my yard!

southern willamette , OR(Zone 7a)

Jo Ann.... I really like those pardancandas that you have way up in Post #6914286

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Pixi Thats great news just let them do their thing and go to seed, next year you'll have tons.
RC!
I only like that one( the wine colored one) I have a blurry shot of the rest in the collection that are baige and just not much as far as color goes.
If the plant produces masses of wine colored flowers in the next few years I'll be happy. The baige one has to go if it strikes out next summer.

southern willamette , OR(Zone 7a)

Good Morning Jo Ann,

well.... I've never seen one of those change color. So, I'd say that you might as well start a plan for a plant to take the place of the beige one. At least Sangia is what you had hoped! Do the hummers not like yours?? When mine was still around, even though the color wasn't so exciting, the hummers really liked it.

Good night!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Good night Shelly.
Cant see the hummers from my deck.
Just on the million other red flowers
