I am still learning how to grow plants. I have strawberries that I planted the year before last. I bought 5 plants from a local store and planted them. The first year I got 1 berry from each plant and my plants started to get runners. Then last year I noticed they didn't flower so no berries. This year again no flowers. I have these beautiful lush leaves and no flowers. I have notice that the plants have runners and was wandering if I cut the runners would my plants flower. Or does that even have anything to do with it?
Strawberries with no Flowers No berries:(
Strawberries take awhile to establish, they grow by runners, you may(not saying definitely) kill the plant by cutting the runners.
