Debra - I love all your butterfly photos! AWESOME!!!! :-)
This one: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=6959177 has amazing variegated foliage! I love it! Fingers crossed for seeds!
Boy oh boy! That messina creeper is MGs gone wild! LOL! Looks like it will cover a fence in no time at all! :-) Very pretty regardless!
Still waitng on a white alba to appear.. *sigh* I went out inbetween rain and thunder to see all my lavender moon vines just loaded.. the albas are still vining.. I remember when I grew them a few years back, for got I had them, went out one night and saw these white discs in the leaves.. now that is what I am waiting for.. still no George Strait, Xiongs is behaving like Messina Creeper on East of that area, no flowers yet, but eating the star of india, so am moving that one.. Jishi X tenten has joined the Pink Akatsu in the tomatoe patch foray, it is really going for broke now, half with flags half with out, no blooms on any of the yellows I planted and those vines are everywhere, Bereavus still not blooming, blue dawn is still vining no blooms.. no FLYING Saucers yet either.. ( EBAY)
Debra - WOW! I think we need to swap homes for a 2 week vacation! LOL! You garden is amazing! Look at all the different plants! So neat to see!
WOW, Debra ... that last photo in pink ... about blinded me! THAT is what you call HOT PINK! Are those 4 O'Clocks?
Your Mango hibiscus is very unusual double bloom! Very attractive!
I love Ipomoea setosa! Such an unusual vine and so cool to touch! :-) NICE!!!!
Love ALL your blooms!!! What a garden you have!!!
Is LindaKay's son okay?
You might want to start a new thread. This one is taking a while to load up. :-)
patootie, what kind of flower pots are those? they are cool looking.
LiliMerci, that is a coir pot. I need to google it but I think it's made
from coconut fibers. I like them, .48 cents each from Charley's
Green Houses. They do dry out faster than a plastic pot so I need to
water them more often.
Love your little Xiong's Chinese bloom, Jackie! I use the coir pots too for my shade plants. It does keep away any root rot issues! :-)
I wonder if I can get some at the local nursery here, other than those basket liners.
Thanks Becky. I agree, great for minimizing any overwatering or
just too much rain.
Lili wouldn't hurt to check at your local nursery's. In fact, don't see
why you couldn't ask them to order some in for you. But a person
could save money by ordering for themselves from Charley's.
i'll ask the next time I go. One local nursery had filed bankruptcy a few years ago when he had the drought. And another one that is not a local chain has some cool plants but they are more expensive. I saw some pretty banana plants at 35% off, but I walked away. Ha.
