Nice shots Lily! Nice scenes and like the turtle shots also!
Let's have a boat ride!
Beautiful scenery, enhanced by the autumn colours, Lily_love. That's a pretty big lake you're fortunate enough to live on.
Spring appears to be upon us once again, this will mark the 3rd Spring since we had the pleasure of Brad's present. Today, for the first time ever, I've discovered a pair of love birds busy building a "Home" in this nest box, one that Bradley has given us as gift the preceding spring, then he died that following Summer.

Like the fleeting beauty of a migrant bird, Bradley's life was there, then he was gone.
It's so sur-real. "It's a sign; don't you agree he's sent us the two?" Said his father pointing to the birds building the above nest.

Spring this year was a turbulence one. Time does march on, however. Despite the abundance of beauty surrounding us. Sadness does linger and tears does flow. 3rd spring, then 3rd summer without Brad in our lives....
This song is for Bradley.

I just spotted this beautiful thread and it made me cry. So sorry for your loss, but so happy that Bradley has such a wonderful, loving tribute to honor his memory.
Love the beautiful pics and oh, what a sweetie the little guy is!!
Boy you read my mind (or I read yours). I was just thinking the other day whether you had gone to check out the swallows on the bridge.
Edited. Well, don't I look dumb. I thought this was another boat ride this year. Still, wonderful collection and tribute to Bradley.
hugs

Thank you my friend for the hugs. Marna, thank you for being a friend. As far as the swallows I and Jim would go down the dam (where we find the big number of nests) and look at the nestlings every so often. This year, as you already knew, I haven't had a good birding season, as far as watching nesting activity...
I thank again for your visit.
Hugs being sent your way.
Just thinking, remembering Brad.
