NATURAL flea repellant for poted plants

Westerly, RI

Well, I have alot of animals in my house, with animals there are fleas. I am afrade that fleas are breeding in my potted plants espacally the ones that are outside for the summer and that I will be bringing back in soon. All of my animals are on frontline plus, I have neighboors tho and I dont think there that responsable

Any suggestions

Fleas live on blood. If they are breeding in your potted plants, where are they getting the blood they have to have for food?
You've been super busy on Dave's lately. I notice a lot of posts from you the last few days. Hope you get all your problems solved.

they breed in dirt and sand at least thats what I was told. I am wondering if dehidrated garlic and onyon on the soil could help. I dont want to kill the plants, just the fleas

Treat half of your bed with the concoction and leave half untreated. Check in a few days for fleas. That may help you decide. Do fleas dislike garlic and onion?

yea, the garlic think

since your animals are on a good flea program, even if you bring fleas in with plants (which i doubt), as soon as they hop off and bite an animal, they'll be dead, so i wouldn't worry about it. if you're seeing small flea type things in the pots, it may be fungus gnats and you can easily fix that with a topping of clean sand on top of the soil.

Catz, you want one of my weird answers? Get a goat. Couse you'd have to make sure the goat didn't have access to the plants.

well jim, I have 3 cats, a dog and 3 fish tanks. My apartment is only so big and there isnt much land so I dont think a goat is for me.

As for seeing fleas, well I havent. I am extreemly precausious after we had to have the whole house bombed. I dont want to bring those nasty things in my home!!!!!!!

Got that right.
