The little shade bed between the garden shed and the greenhouse. That white plastic container isn't usually there but I dug up some tulips to put in a dahlia (big surprise snort) and there were poppies on top of the tulips so this year it's there.
Long View 2009 #4
A different perspective of this little bed. Note the currant in the back of the bed. It's usually to the top of the fence but I cut it right down this year cuz it was looking ratty. Also the back of the shed is the path to Peppy Le Peu and Peppermint's front door. (They are the skunks who live under the shed who hopefully have babies cuz I have already picked out names.)
too funny
Very nice, dnut. Like the greenhouse!
Now moving up the north side we are looking at my 'woodland' (no snorting please from those who have woods although LOL I'm snorting as I type ^_^) which was originally a cement path, dead grass and junk. DH built the wood/pot shed and I painted everything and put in the shale path. I will make doors for the wood shed cuz it looks junky
Wow, D'Nut! That's an extensive garden. Thanks for the tour and the humor.
I could spend hours in there, beautiful.

Now stepping out of the 'woodland' . You can see the bowl of the Mayday where the summer fairys live. My compost is behind it. The blank fence in the immediate left is where I'm putting the new vibernum. There is a new shrub coming up on the lower outie part of the fence below the bird bath. The 'Rocket' ligularia before the bird bath usually grows to the top of the fence so it's covered. Not this year. F*r*e*e*z*e and no rain in June made it a shortie.
Thanks all for your wonderful responses. I really appreciate it as sometimes it's tough having a small space and being way behind in seasons from you folks in the NE. I hope this encourages others with smaller spaces to post. Come on... you know you waaaaaaant to.... just one pic.... start with your fav pic... you can do it.... I know you can... We will wait til you find your fav pic.... We are very patient.... ^_^
Love tour d-nut. You need a sign 'creative gardener lives here'!
Dnut, It's looks wonderful.
Very nice use of the space. If only there was no snow for 10 months!
now Victor....
love the view from the office!!
AHHH but then I couldn't grow what I grow Victor. And actually my problem is usually no snow sigh.
Beautiful Dnut!!
dnut your yard looks great - and to answer your question the edging needs to be more wavey.
Fabby wha I just knew it was to be an ebb tide. Please post pics.
dnut that will be a next year project :)
A wonderful tour dnut. I love all your gates and trellises. The use of little shaded nooks and spaces is just delightful and the placement of beds and pots does make it seem that you are not on a lot in the city. All the color and imagination really makes it a lovely walk around. Great job and I am so happy you shared your slice of happiness with the rest of us.
Just caught up with the tour, sorry I was late. Dnut, I am very impressed! All the dancing seems to have done wonders for the plants.
Thanks I'm really pleased with how some of my views are shaping up. Lots still to do though.
Celeste, they are wonderful!
yes they are!!
Beautiful pixie. Wish mine looked as nice. Hail, slugs and red lily beetle yuck, so I am happy you are sharing yours, so pretty.
nice combo pixi
Very prettiful!
This is the blue and yellow bed. Some things have stopped and been cut back, some things are still going strong and others have started blooming. This is the newest bed in my garden and needs a few tweaks like all the rest. It's never done really is it? Non gardeners don't get it...that's the fun of it. :)
I could look at that arbour all day sigh.
Me too, beautiful Pat!
Very nice, Pat!
Dnut - there U go again!
Love that arbor!
What you refer to as a "jungle" looks to me like a relaxed and happy garden.
