Believe it or not, I actually managed to get these neat little flowers to grow and the chocolate scent is unbelievable! However, I am wondering if I am harvesting the seeds properly. I noticed when the blooms dry up they turn a tan color. I have picked them off and noticed that if I pick the petals apart, there appears to be a tiny seed beneath some tiny little spike-like things (not sure of the name of it). Am I correct in assuming these are the seeds? They seem very thin and are very tiny. I cannot recall what they looked like when I first planted them back in February.
I looked up this plant on the internet and found only one image of the seeds, but no information on how to harvest them, so I'm really not sure that I'm doing it correctly.
Does anyone here have any experience with these plants and can you let me know if I'm doing this right? Thanks in advance.
