can we save our Euonymus that is presently plagued with scale??
if so how?
Euonymus Scale advise Needed!
Spray it well with soapy water, prehaps a mixture of 1/2 rubbing alcohol. I use this on many shrubs for aphids, scale, etc. My Euonymus got scale bad last year, I thought I would lose it, but the soapy / alchohol mixture fixed it right up.

There is also a good, once-per-year systemic by Bayer that you can use as a soil drench. It's called Bayer 12-Month Insect & Disease Control. It's very easy to use and effective. Euonymus is very susceptible to scale, especially is the soil is poor. Be sure to amend the soil or at least side-dress or/and mulch with some organic material. Give the plant some fertilizer too. Good luck.
