Thanks! Hope she/he tells all her/his hummingbird friends about the awesome buffet I have. Wonder if it found the big cardinal flower lobelia in bloom over by the pond and the HB feeder? It was on the agastache, salvia and phlox in the HB/BF garden

I think all the babies have fledged and they and the females are visiting the feeders. We have had an increase in activity in the past few days...kind of awesome seeing them all day! They are up to almost 2 gallons a day!!

Well, things are improving here. Just from my window, I've had two sightings today of birds at the flowers. And since I want to document it (LOL) I took pictures. This is probably 50 feet from my office window.

haven't seen it on the feeder or the lobelia yet, as they are not in my line of sight. HOWEVER, it went to check out the spot where a feeder had been, months ago and was replaced by a thistle feeder. Makes me think it's been here before.

I couldn't snap a photo quick enough, but I'm pretty sure I had a male black-chinned hummer at my feeder today. He was in some good light and definitely had a purple throat. Has anyone else from the Fort Worth, TX, area had any black-chinned sightings?
