I have 2 eucalyptus trees in my backyard that seem to have some cracks forming in the trunks. We had one large branch blow into the yard last winter, and had both trees trimmed back shortly after. I'm not sure if I should get rid of the trees, or if this is natural to eucalyptus. I am in Costa Mesa, CA.

i don't know a lot about trees but i'd be worried that those would be coming down on me or the house. i'd get a tree specialist in to have a look asap.
