Morning Cue

Wow I get off of here to work on an afghan which decided it wanted to run out of one color I don't want to repllace to find Cue is almost famous. Congratulations Cue, now you know for sure what we've all been telling you. You're great.

On those black flowers that have pink blooms.... Maybe God is just reminding you Goth nuts that there's still a girl in all that black stuff???? And while I don't care for black plants or flowers I don't think they are werid and your garden will be interesting to behold.

Robin, flowerejh has a friend from out of state visiting with her and they went off camping and doing a lot of fun stuff while she is here. I think she is due back just before the summer break is over then back to college, and working. She is suppose to let us know when she's back. HI Loca, Margaret, Robin and CUE, where is Seray and other Flower? Morning ALL!!! Well, Margater, I was going to auction the seed off because I'm not crazy for bromeliads, but when I saw that huge picture, I think I may go ahead and sow a few to see if they will grow. Actually, I did that this morning. They are on a heat mat and under a blue light, in starter soil. I took all my seed from the wet towel and baggies and put in starter soil on heat mats and blue lights. I think this will be faster germinating. AND found out it takes 2 weeks to sprout the metal blue and sapphire towers. So, they are on the way. I still have a few seeds, but promised Seray some for helping me with some info. Have to see what is left from that after these sprout. I'll let you know if I have any extras.

Jan...are you there? I am sending your package today before I leave for Morgantown. Is there anything besides Mint? Not blueberries though you have to wait till it is cooler.I sent some to a woman recently and she said they died so I am not sending out anymore until it cools...but anything else I am supposed to send you?

HI Robin. what kind of mint did you send Jan? I"m just being nosy here LOL. Next trip to town I get to take cuttings from lemon mint a friend has and mark her purple crape myrtle for getting a sprout from this fall as I don't know if I can root cuttings from it though I might try just to see. I had lemon mint but let my BIL have it knowing I can get more easy. I had 2 Royals sprout and already have a home for them.
And if you are offering blueberries this fall I would be interested in trying them as I lost all I bought a few years ago. DH told me if I keep it up I'll have to set up at the farmer's market to get rid of all the fruit if everything gets going good LOL. I told him nope I knew too many people who could use some extra help with their food supply.

Sorry, I was off for a while, We had a storm with RAIN!!!!!!! It took out my internet for a while. Robin, the only other thing I want is florida orchid if you happen to be hiding that one somewhere. LOL Margaret, HI. I need to wait to see if the seed I sowed will sprout, and after setting some aside for seray, if there are any left, I'll let you know. The seed are so tiny and there aren't many in the pack, I sowed 5 of each one and have 5 left, but may have to re-sow, as sometimes they don't sprout. They take 2 weeks form what I read, so I'm watching.

I've never heard of chocolate mint before or curly, only peppermint, but never grew any of it. I have lots of spearmint, little piece of pinapple mint, tiny piece of catmint. That's all in the mint line.

HI Robin does that mean you want some lemon mint ? My friend told me to take the whole plant LOL but I told her for now I'll just take cuttings since I can root those easy enough. She also has a spearmint that is different from what I have from another friend. Hers smells more like spearmint gum than the one I have.
