What works?

Medicine Bow, WY(Zone 4b)

I'm looking for an indoor plant that does not require a lot of natural light. My living room gets no sunlight at all but I'd still like to try to bring something pretty in!

Ozone, AR(Zone 6a)

I have Mother-in-law tongue. That gets no light and does well. Just don't water it much. It also loves neglect.

Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom

Spider plant, Draconea (spelling?). I also have a pink fittonia (apparently they like a lot of light but mine is in the shade and growing slowly).

Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

This company retails plants through Home Depot in little pots for about $4-$7. The link should take you to their "choosing plants for your decor page", where you can choose the conditions the plant will be living in, and they tell you which of their plants is most suitable. There's lots of pretty foliages to pick from - but if you want flowers, you need some sunlight. Fortunately, if you want color, there are some that have pink and red leaves.

I'm pretty partial to this Pilea Moon Valley. It does best in low light situations, and has an awesome texture to the leaves.

The picture doesn't quite do it justice, but I've seen this pretty regularly at the HD near me.
