hi all,
this is my second year of growing lupins from seed. last year i planted them out into pots and the leaves went a powdery grey colour. this year i re-planted last years crop into the garden and they have grown massive in heighy but again have the same powder leaves. the bed planted lupins have produced a crop of pods this year which i assume i have to dry out.
the new potted ones from seed have gone powder leafed again. is this normal or should i treat them with something to preventthe leaves going the same next year.
hope my rambling has made some sort of sence and someone could advice me.
thanks
the leaves on my lupins have gone powdery grey in colour
Can you post a picture? Might be powdery mildew but a picture would help.
If it is powdery mildew, here are some links about managing it:

sorry no good at taking pictures but i suspect it could well be some kind of mildew
